Compare
Comparisons, including the parts that do not favour us
Every comparison here lists where the other vendor is the better buy, with a link to the public page each fact came from and the date it was read. If we could not verify something, it says so instead of guessing.
Dataswap vs SerpApi
SerpApi is the reference implementation of a SERP API, and it holds certifications we do not. This page is the comparison we would want to read if we were on your side of it.

Dataswap vs Tavily
If your only requirement is “give my agent web results, cheaply, today”, Tavily is a good answer and has a free tier we do not match. The comparison gets interesting when someone asks where the data came from.

Dataswap vs Firecrawl
This is the comparison where the honest conclusion is frequently “use them”. If the job is “turn this website into structured content”, that is what Firecrawl is for, and it is not what we sell.

How we write these
- Every claim about another vendor comes from their own public pages, with a link and the date we read it.
- Every comparison lists where the other vendor is the better buy. If we cannot name three such cases, the page does not ship.
- We publish no latency or quality benchmarks, because we have not run a study we would be willing to defend.
- Where we could not verify something, the table says “not found on their public pages” — which is what we know, not what we suspect.
Facts on these pages were last verified on 4 August 2026. Vendors move; if a row is wrong, tell us and it gets corrected rather than argued about.
